Erasmus Erasmus : What does PS look like?

There are of course many physical symptoms and conditions associated with Paill Spectrum as well as behavioural problems.

Paill Spectrum may be associated with medical conditions such as Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Road Rage, Episodes of Anger, Irritability, Aggression, and possible violence and Dyslexic Language Problems. Age related presentations are specific: language problems typically occur in the younger patients. Other symptoms may include Chest Wall Pains, Easy Bruising, Neuropathy, Dyslexia, Sweaty Hands, Loss of Balance and Elbow pain.

Dr XxxxxDR Xxxxx :
The condition Paill Spectrum may be associated with a number of medical conditions with currently no known cause: such as

Numbat Goo Goo: Paill Spectrum can affect anybody at any age.

Dr XxxxxDR Xxxxx :The symptoms and signs of illness are generally different at each age group, especially the behavioural syndromes, reflecting the different stages of neural maturation at each age. The Paill Spectrum syndrome model explains why the condition can be so hard to identify, due to the variety of presentations depending on stage of illness, age, and degree of infection. Psychosocial and neural maturation tasks vary substantially at different age groups.

Dr XxxxxDR Xxxxx : The New Disease Model :
Paill Spectrum is Found in Many Common Medical Conditions.

Some of the conditions where it is suspected the Paill Spectrum organism is present include:

Erasmus Erasmus :There are many more symptoms that appear in patients with the syndrome, but these are the most basic and consistent symptoms, across many patients.  The symptoms and medical findings form a new clinical syndrome, whose identification was pioneered by Dr. Xxxxx, named Paill Spectrum . :-|]

Erasmus Erasmus : Paill Spectrum can affect anybody at any age. The clinical symptoms and their severity will vary depending on the age of onset of the infection and its progression.

Numbat Goo Goo: : The Paill Spectrum model suggests that it is a very very slow infection and many of the problems that it causes, take many years to become obvious.  Many of the symptoms are often not even recognised as being signs of illness, because they develop so gradually. >Back to Top Paill3    For Specific conditions : see Syndrome Page

Dr XxxxxDR Xxxxx : A New “Clinical” Syndrome

I have identified symptoms and signs consistent with the PaillSpectrum disease model, in many patients over three years.

The symptoms form a distinct symptom "cluster" that is easily recognised, able to be confirmed by a simple blood test and readily responds to intensive therapy: both nutritional and with antibiotics. Some patients (up to 1/3) achieve excellent results with nutritional treatment alone. There are a number of other clinical syndromes that occur in Paill Spectrum Model .

Erasmus Erasmus : Do I Need to Worry About This Disease?

The Paill Spectrum disease model suggests that Paill Spectrum appears to be a very common condition across all age groups and is probably widespread across the world.  It affects men and women equally. It is more common than many people would believe with common symptoms and common complications.

Kinkajou Kinkajou : Paill Spectrum is a slowly lethal or slowly killing disease. :-]
It is hard to believe that people have so much trouble recognising the common thread in all these conditions.

Numbat Goo Goo: : Doctors may feel that the theory of Paill Spectrum is wrong, because things just happen to make people ill. There is no cause. There is no explanation. These events occur at random, Acts of God, if you will.

Our genesis doctor's stance is strangely at odds with these statements.
Doc states that everything happens for a reason.
For every physical or psychological event where there is a change in human behaviour or where there are new symptoms, there is a physical (real) event occurring to cause the illness, event or symptoms.
A simple law of “cause and effect”. There are no illnesses that just "happen".

Erasmus Erasmus : One of the problems of being an old dog. You're stuck with your old tricks and its hard to adjust to new perceptions of reality. Knowledge can give you choices. I will do my best to make sure that the knowledge is there. All of it. But in the long run, you need to embrace knowledge and use it to plan your destiny. That's hard for most people.

What Does Paill Spectrum Look Like?

Erasmus Erasmus : Paill Spectrum is easy to diagnose if you know what to look for. It is a very effective infective agent. All you have to do is to look at the news each night to diagnose cases. Sad People. Bad People. Mad People. Or just people with the lights going out.

Erasmus Erasmus : It is the behavioural symptoms that particularly make Pail Spectrum so distinct. If you see a person whose brain is not working right, the only explanation for most behaviour is Paill Spectrum. If you don’t treat it, there can only be one destiny. Malignantly progressive merciless illness. (Paill Spectrum is NOT cancer).

Dr XxxxxDR Xxxxx : The behavioural symptoms are different at every age. Pail Spectrum affects the actively growing brain so symptoms vary depending on the age of the affected person at the time the critical infection is causing damage and symptoms vary of course depending on the areas of the brain affected.

E.g. in a baby: severe damage is unlikely leading to developmental delay
E.g. In a toddler: typical conditions include: Attention Deficit, Asperger’s, and Dyslexia. In Paill Spectrum terms, dyslexia is better described as “symbolic speech processing disorder””. That is, dyslexia affects the recognition and processing of “symbolic logic” items. Hence the term “speech symbols” as speech is a construct of abstract symbols carrying meaning because they are combined in characteristic and recognisable patterns.

Letters and numbers are both affected.

Sequences of numbers and letters are cross linked.
Sequences of numbers and letters cannot be remembered to an age appropriate level.
Numbers are just an easier way of assessing symbolic processing problems, as there are no rules for combining numbers. Any number can be perfectly valid following any other number. Letters have rules to allow them to be combined to form words. E.g. Vowel and consonants are combined to create distinct “symbolic concepts” or “words”.
Dyslexia is not a defect of being unable to read or write. Dyslexia also affects numbers, processing of numbers and memory for numbers as well as memory for performing sequences of activities.

E.g. In young children, severe cases of children with Paill Spectrum are obvious. Teachers describe them as kids “sitting there with the lights out and no one home”.
All prospects for a successful career and even successful relationships are fading fast before a child is even 5 years old.

E.g. In Teenagers:
Boys have characteristic problems with psychosocial development and psychosocial identity development but there does need to be an illness supporting psychosocial environment.
E.g. Teenagers: Body image issues can often develop such as anorexia.
Young adults: Typical problems included depression, schizophrenia, borderline personality and bipolar disorder.

Older adults: Poor memory, anger and irritability, rage, restlessness are common

Kinkajou Kinkajou: So what is the crux of all this:
Paill spectrum causes all these symptoms and all these conditions.
One cause therefore one treatment.
The same treatment will make a difference in all these conditions.
There is only one disease causing all of this in the Paill Spectrum theory.
